The Speech to Success Mastermind transforms your skills in 8 weeks. You'll learn how to speak with confidence on stage and on camera.
In most public speaking classes, you're simply given a few notes like "slow down" or "smile more" and then told, "practice makes perfect."
This isn't effective. Tips and tricks will NOT improve your skills. They may make you feel more uncomfortable and inauthentic.
The key to showing up on camera and stage is understanding how to lean into your engaging story, transforming your anxiety into excitement, and captivating audiences. When you have these tools, you can develop a powerfully magnetic presence.

Speech to Success will meet on Thursdays at 1 PM ET for an hour. If you miss a live session, you’ll have access to replays to work through on your own time.

Online Access
We'll meet live every week on Zoom, and access to the recordings of class will be available to you in our online portal. All relevant links will be sent to you upon registration. Your access to the class recordings never expires... as long as we've got the internet, they're yours to keep!
Will there be homework?
Yes! But this isn't college and you won't pull all-nighters. Assignments include outlining and crafting your story, keynote, or whatever you're working on; and recording videos for feedback. All assignments are designed to significantly improve your presence and confidence.
You can submit your videos to the course portal for your instructors to review.

In this first day of the mastermind, we'll review TV interviews, podcasts, keynotes, and short form videos to understand what makes you, your voice, and your brand stand out. You'll learn the essential elements to share about yourself, and how to adapt your sharing for various formats. Your homework after this first day of class will be to choose a format for your video presentation during this mastermind, and write an initial outline of your script. |

Engaging the Audience > Thursday October 24th, 12-1pm Eastern How do you establish a genuine connection with an audience? We'll address the basics of eye contact, working the stage, designing your slides, and memorizing without losing energy or enthusiasm. The ultimate success of your presentation has to do with how connected you are to your listeners, and how connected they feel to you. Your homework after this second day of class will be to record a first take of your video presentation. |

Dealing with Nerves > Thursday October 31st, 12-1pm Eastern Are you afraid of being judged? Or forgetting what you want to say? For most of us, nervousness and anxiety is what keeps us from getting onstage or in front of the camera, and getting the publicity we deserve. Today you'll learn how to redirect the energy that we call "nerves" so you can move from fear to total confidence. Your homework after this third day of class will be to create a map of your habits related to nerves, and write out the practices you like best (that you learned from class) to address them. |

Tranforming your Voice & Speech > Thursday November 7th, 12-1pm Eastern If you've ever felt that your voice and speech need to change, today's the day you'll gain more context to make those changes. Elissa will cover questions related to changing the quality and tone of your voice, and Adrianna will cover questions related to authoritative speech. Your homework after this fourth day of class will be to record a take of your video presentation focused on voice & speech. |

Transforming your Body Language >Thursday November 14th, 12-1pm Eastern Our body language is one of primary ways we can reinforce (or undermine) our message. Today you'll get clear about your personal habits related to facial expressions and full body movements, and learn how to make changes to your body language to best support your messaging. Your homework after this fifth day of class will be to record a take of your video presentation focused on body language. |

Destroying Imposter Syndrome >Thursday November 21st, 12-1pm Eastern Any vestiges of imposter syndrome still sticking around? We lovingly think of this day of the mastermind as a 'group therapy' session to continue building our confidence and say no-thank-you to the remaining thoughts contributing to imposter syndrome. Your homework after this sixth day of class will be to review the videos you've recorded so far and make a list of all the positive aspects you notice about your speech and delivery. |
